A Nintendo DS that fills an unfolded display

Unfold a foldable, or hold a tablet upright, and the two Nintendo DS screens come apart. The game screen takes the whole width and the touch screen moves down between the pad and the buttons.

Dates show when changes were integrated into the app. These versions are pre-release development records.

The game screen takes the whole width, and the touch screen moves down between the pad and the buttons, landing between both thumbs. A phone is unchanged; choose Stacked under screen arrangement in Settings to bring the old picture back on a wide display too.

    A foldable display shaped like a Nintendo DS

    Unfold a foldable and it can use its display as two. A Nintendo DS also has two screens. That shared shape is now used: on an unfolded display the upper screen is given room and the touch screen sits between the pad and the buttons, as it does on the machine itself.
