N-EMU v0.5.1 early development
Backup management and library checks
Check backup status by game and move saves as files. Earlier saves are kept, and missing game files can be reconnected.
Timeline dates and periods were reassigned to spread out the development history. They are not the dates changes were integrated into the app. These are pre-release development records. 0.1.0–0.8.3 are numbers assigned retrospectively to stages of early development. The app used version 0.1.0 throughout that period.
Timeline date
Backup status by game
Compare a game's save data on your device with its backups on Drive.
Compare different save states
When the same slot holds different saves, compare their times, sizes and source devices to choose which one to keep.
Keep earlier saves

Transfer saves as files
Export a selected game's save data as a file and import it on another device. Game files are excluded; save states require matching games and core versions.

Autosaves from other devices
Check each device's autosave and save time, then choose where to resume.
Backup progress and cancellation

Backup operation history

A warning when device times differ
A notice appears if a save time is unknown or far in the future. Check the date and time on both devices.
Clean up old Drive saves
Manually load the list of app-created saves on the cleanup screen. Select items and confirm again to move them to Drive's trash.
Compress saves for transfer
Save data is compressed to reduce the size of files sent to Drive.
Use a game screenshot as a cover

If a game file is missing, import the same file again and reconnect it to the existing game.
