N-EMU v0.9.3 update

Screen transitions and cursor improvements

Text and buttons now appear with a short effect when a screen opens. The cursor follows the text size.

Timeline dates and periods were reassigned to spread out the development history. They are not the dates changes were integrated into the app. These are pre-release development records.

Timeline date

  1. Text and buttons appear as screens open

In settings, the library and other screens, text appears character by character as buttons and covers are drawn. The effect ends within 0.6 seconds; interacting reveals everything immediately. Reduced motion disables it. It does not replay on rotation, returning to the app or scrolling lists.

  2. A cursor sized to the text

The cursor keeps blinking after the text appears. It now matches the text size and has room beside it so it does not cover content. Reduced motion also stops the blinking.
