N-EMU v0.9.8 update

Back navigation and audio fixes

Fixed the back gesture on iOS settings and detail screens. Updated audio handling when starting games over another app’s playback, and refreshed the official site and contact links.

Dates show when changes were integrated into the app. These versions are pre-release development records.

Integrated

  1. Swipe back in iOS settings and details

    iOS

Swiping from the left edge in a settings category or detail screen performs the same action as its back arrow. Releasing a short drag keeps the current screen open.

  2. Play alongside other audio on iOS

    iOS

While another app is playing audio, N-EMU leaves the audio device’s sample rate and buffer size unchanged to avoid interrupting that playback when a game starts.

  3. Keep other playback going on Android

    Android

Starting a game now requests a temporary volume reduction from other apps instead of ending their playback. Their response depends on their audio handling. N-EMU releases audio focus when the game closes.

  4. Official site and contact links

The app’s homepage and privacy links now open n-emu.app. Contact is thor128.workshop@gmail.com. Checks keep both clients and the store submission material in agreement.

  5. Include the Android NDS licence text

    Android

Builds with NDS enabled and SNES and PSP disabled now include the LGPL text required by melonDS. Package validation also rejects a missing text.
