Getting started
Import your own game files using the + button in the library. Check the Features page for supported systems and file types.
Systems and featuresFrequently asked questions
01Can I download the app now?
It is not on the stores yet. Download links will appear here after release.
02How do I get started?
Put your own game files on your device. Tap + in the library to import one, then tap the game to start.
03Are games included?
No games are included. Prepare your own dumps, and import only files you have the right to use.
04Which files can I import?
See Features for each system's file extensions. You can also import a ZIP containing one cartridge game. Import PSP files directly, not inside a ZIP.
05How are save states different from in-game saves?
An in-game save uses the game's own save feature. A save state is a snapshot of the game at a particular moment, stored separately by N-EMU. Save one from the pause menu and load it later.
06Can I undo loading the wrong save state?
Choose Undo load in the pause menu to return to just before loading. Loading another state replaces that recovery point. Resetting or quitting the game clears it.
07Does it work offline?
Games run without an internet connection. Internet is needed when you connect Google Drive or explicitly check, back up, restore, or clean up saves.
08How do I move saves to another device?
Export saves from game information and move the files to your new device. In builds with Drive support, back up under Settings › Storage and backup, then download on the new device. Supply the same game file separately on the new device; save states also need a matching core version.
09Can I use controllers?
Connect up to four controllers and assign players. They also work in the library, settings, and pause menu. The number of simultaneous players depends on the game and system.
10What if Korean text is missing in a PSP game?
Under More › Info › Game settings, select Korean font for the PSP game font, then restart the game. This may help some Korean-patched games; it does not translate the game. If kanji are also needed, you can import and select a PGF font you have the right to use.
11Are there paid features or ads?
All app features are free, with no in-app ads. Supporting the developer does not change which features you can use.

I develop N-EMU on my own, so replies may take a while. I read every message.
Support N-EMU development
Your support helps N-EMU grow. Contributions help cover developer accounts, test devices and ongoing work on the app. App features are the same whether or not you contribute.
Core and font licenses are listed in the app under Settings › About and help › Licenses.
