When you load the wrong save state
Undo load lets you return to the moment you were playing, even after accidentally loading an older state.
Pre-release development recordChoosing the wrong slot can overwrite a state you wanted to keep or take you to an unwanted moment. Save features needed not just guidance to avoid mistakes, but a way to recover afterward.
Slot names, notes and screenshot previews help you find the state you want. Lock slots you want to keep, and restore overwritten slots from their earlier records.
A mistaken load is different from a lost save file: you need the game state you were just playing. Before loading a state, the app now keeps a copy of the current state. Undo load in the pause menu restores it.
The undo copy takes no save slot, and only one is kept for the running game. The next load replaces it; quitting or restarting removes it. If a copy cannot be made, the app warns you and asks whether to load without a way back.
Undo load is not a replacement for regular saving. Keep a save state for moments you want to revisit later, and export important save data separately.
