N-EMU v1.10.0 update

PlayStation and 3DS resume

PlayStation adds CHD, disc sets and DualShock. 3DS states survive updates. Fixed Android 3DS stops and error messages. 3DS performance work continues.

Dates show when changes were integrated into the app and may differ from store release dates.

Integrated

  1. PlayStation and CUE/BIN

PS1 games run through PCSX-ReARMed. Select your own dumped CUE and all referenced BIN files together to store them as one game. Single-BIN discs are also accepted.

  2. Boot without a BIOS file

PS1 boots with the replacement BIOS implemented in the core. No separate BIOS file is needed or imported. Both platforms run it without JIT.

  3. Import PS1 CHD files

PS1 CHD files are stored unchanged. Track metadata distinguishes PS1 discs from PSP images, so PSP CHDs continue to import as PSP games.

  4. Several discs, one game

Select an M3U together with its disc files, or select all discs named with (Disc 1), (Disc 2) and so on. They become one game; switch discs from the disc row in the pause menu.

  5. Choose DualShock per game

Choose the digital pad or DualShock in game information. DualShock uses both on-screen and controller sticks and game-triggered rumble. Press L1, R1 and SELECT together to toggle analog mode.

  6. 3DS resume survives app updates

3DS states and resume data from 1.9.0 remain loadable after updating the app. They still belong to the same installation. Save in game before a change to the 3DS engine itself.

  7. Landscape pause and touch

    iOS

Fixed the pause button and the outer edge of the 3DS touch screen being unresponsive on iOS in landscape with a controller connected.

  8. Centre single-screen systems

    iOS

With a controller connected on iOS in landscape, single-screen systems such as GBA are centred. Only NDS and 3DS, which use two screens, keep the layout that avoids the Dynamic Island.

How 3DS states survive an update

Integrating Azahar meant signing states per installation. We then separated state compatibility from the rest of the app so an app update alone would not close those states.
