N-EMU v1.0.6 update

Drive save backup

Back your saves up to your own Google Drive and download them on another device. Game files are never uploaded, and connecting is optional.

Dates show when changes were integrated into the app. These versions are pre-release development records.

Integrated

  1. Save backup to your own Google Drive

Connect a Google account under Storage and backup in Settings to upload battery saves and save states to your own Drive and download them on another device. Game files are never uploaded. The app sees nothing in your Drive except the files it created, and nothing leaves the device until you press backup or download. Connecting is optional, and everything works without it. Available on both Android and iOS.

  2. The library check no longer calls its own temporary files strangers

    iOS

A save state is written to a temporary file first and then renamed into place. If the app stops mid-save that file stays behind, and the library check counted it as an unknown item while telling the reader to review a file only the app can act on. The app now recognises its own files. Applies to iOS.
