Making Korean text visible in PSP games
Dialogue can remain missing after applying a Korean patch. You can now choose the font used by some PSP games.
Pre-release development recordIf dialogue is missing in a Korean-patched PSP game, the font may be the cause. Some games still load a Japanese font after patching, and cannot display Korean characters if the font lacks them.
N-EMU can use the Korean font included with PPSSPP instead. Both iOS and Android support it, and the choice applies after restarting the game. It does not translate game content.
The Korean font has no kanji, so it may not suit games played in Japanese. That is why fonts can be chosen per game. Games without an individual choice follow the app-wide setting.
For both Korean and kanji, import a PSP PGF font you have the right to use and select it. Even with Imported font selected, the game uses the original font if no file is present.
